In the height of the summer, the nightlife doesn’t really kick off until around midnight. Palma’s best clubs are Pacha, which has a split-level terrace and VIP area for when the music gets too much and Tito’s, accessed by a glass lift, which is popular with the younger dance floor addicts who want to rave until the sun comes up. Both are found on the Paseo Maritimo sea front, flanked by bars on both sides. One of the most popular joints in town, especially for cocktails, is Atlantico (calle San Feliu 12, La Lonja). This is a rock and cocktail bar, decorated with US navy memorabilia. Nearby in La Lonja is the Bed Bar, a cool, feel-good and very comfortable place to relax and unwind amongst the very international clientele. The Red Bar (Portals Nous) just outside the city, is Mallorca’s first Fushion joint with the backing of Julian Lennon. The terrace opens soon for the summer and the place is rather exclusive, you never know who is going to waltz in, but it is not cheap.
